Who we are

RBT Prep Academy operates rbtprepacademy.com, a free study resource for people preparing for the Registered Behavior Technician certification exam. You can reach us at hello@rbtprepacademy.com or through our contact form.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and the display name you choose. Accounts are optional; you can take every practice test without one.
• Quiz activity. When you are signed in, we store your practice attempts, scores, and per-domain results so your dashboard can show progress over time. Guests' attempts are not tied to an identity.
• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email, subject, and message so we can reply.
• Technical data. Standard server logs such as browser type and approximate request information, used for security and debugging.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the site, save your study history, answer your messages, fix bugs, and improve our question bank. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering quiz settings between pages. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject each type of optional cookie, and your choice is stored in your browser.

We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK will be asked for consent to ad personalization through our cookie banner before any personalized ads are shown.

Service providers

Our database, authentication, and hosting run on trusted third-party infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. If you sign in with Google, Google handles your credentials and shares only your basic profile email with us. We also work with Google AdSense as an advertising partner, which may process data such as cookie identifiers and approximate location to serve and measure ads.

Data retention

Account and attempt data is kept while your account is active. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile and saved attempts.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email hello@rbtprepacademy.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for adults pursuing RBT certification. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Keep using the site after a change and you accept the updated policy.
